Had Matt out to our property to investigate and quote a new stormwater drain. Our property has suffered damage due to high volume of rain this year and we didn't know where to begin. He talked us through the whole process from start to finish and what we could do for temporary and permanent solutions. We were very pleased with the work completed at our home. We have been dealing with blocked sewerage pipes at least once a year. Geoff from Green Planet was the first plumber to completely inspect the whole system with a camera and identify where the problems were. Rang Green Planet late on Monday afternoon as I had a bad water leak coming from under my driveway. Matt helped us with an issue we were having with our office toilets. He was there within an hour and a half of making the call and was quick in getting the problem fixed. The whole process was fast, from booking with the lovely staff to the issue being fixed.
Called GPP today for an urgent issue with a blocked drain. The receptionist Lydia was very helpful and provided good communication about the attendance of the plumber Dan. When Dan turned up the issues was resolved swiftly using some pretty impressive equipment (Drain Cam) to show me where Tree roots where blocking up the old earthen wear pipes at my premise. Dan provided excellent information in regards to how I could repair or what preventive options I could take. Green Planet Plumbing recently did some work at our place. From the first contact with the girl at the office through to quote and then installation stage. On time, quick and efficient. Highly recommend this company.
We called them because taps in a new house were leaking and noisy. I got a verbal quote from a tradesman for what I thought was one set of new taps, new washers, and new hoses for the washing machine. But someone else came later to do the work - at the time they said, to be fair - and the new guy (who turned out to be an apprentice) did not replace taps, merely replaced 6 washers and put 2 new hoses on washing machine. For this they took 3 hours and charged the verbally quoted price of $365. When… More I queried it in an email as too high for 6 sets of washers and 2 hoses, the manager called me (at 7:31am next morning, knowing I was a pensioner) to argue the case. In the end she offered to reduce the price by around $60 and I accepted. I then got an email threatening legal action if I did not pay that day. The taps still leaked, and we called them back - after one callback lasting 5 minutes to tighten the screw fitting on the washing machine, the tradie left. After an hour the taps started leaking again. A second call brought the response that he might call in when next in the area, but we should not expect too much as we had had a reduction in the price! A month later we are still waiting. So much for "All work is guaranteed " on their invoice. Taps are still leaking, we will go elsewhere next time. My suggestion to them: put your quotes in writing and spell out what the price covers. And if you send an apprentice don't charge tradesman rates.
First we called them for a blocked drainage and Matt fixed the issue professionally and very good quality camera (CCTV) they have to look at the sewerage. As I like their job I called to replace the bath vanity and tap etc. It was done perfectly by Kieran. I suggest this company 100%.
